Sculpture by the Sea
The official SBTS website is here, if you want to see photos of the artworks without a certain small boy in the foreground. (Dunno why you'd want to do that, of course...) SBTS is an annual event, held between Bondi & Tamarama Beaches in Sydney every spring. Lots of stairs to carry a pram up!

This was a great moebius strip in marble. Mmmm, tactile. This one is actually up on the official website, it's called "Oushi Zokei 2004" and is by Keizo Ushio. (We didn't get a catalogue, so I can't tell you the names of the other artworks, sorry!)

The tricky dismount...
Max adding to the artwork with the addition of a sign that said "please do not climb on this artwork".
Max climbing the artwork. Please note the sign.
What are artworks there for, if not to climb?
This was Max's favourite sculpture. So what if it's not art?
